Community Baptist Church

The purpose of this Church shall be the advancement of the cause of Jesus Christ, which is to provide the setting for new birth in Christ, growth in Christian understanding, and direction in life’s purpose.

Our church exists to introduce people to Jesus Christ. Christianity is about a living relationship with Jesus. Jesus became a human being while still maintaining his divinity so that he could repair our broken relationship with God. This is something we are incapable of doing on our own. He did it through his undeserved death and glorious resurrection. To form a relationship with Jesus, we need to acknowledge we’re not perfect and we need his help. When we ask him to forgive us and be our Savior we also recognize he has a claim on us as our Lord. That involves getting to know him through interacting with the Bible and prayer. Our church exists to help us grow in that relationship and understand how that changes the way we live. We are here to explore these things together and support each other in our life of faith.
